No its not a spelling mistake, its the name of our recent collaboration with the cool Irish design shop

It started as a simple notion, a collaboration between the shop and the elephants. From there the theme was picked. The theme was Roald Dahl.  After that decision was made, for one reason or another the timing went a bit askew. But as is often the case, these things can be a blessing in disguise.  In the new year, with an idea but no date picked, one of the herd suggested that we launch the prints around the same time as when the BFG film came out. Serendipity and genius.

With a definite plan in place the elephants who were free to get involved, beavered away creating their own take on the theme. As the time got closer the elephants dispatched two of the group to a quiet little pub on Dame street (hard work) to hatch a plan, (and have a beer) with the Jam art gang to create a great launch night.

And that it was!

Huge thanks to everyone who came to the night, to the wonderfully awesome Jam Art Factory gang who did so much work and Teelings Whiskey for the tasty cocktails.

If you missed the event, never fear, though you missed a lovely evening you didn't miss out on buying the art. The limited edition prints are still available at the shop and online

A style of illustration that I rarely use, a bit of an experiment that Im quite happy with. Jess
After a busy summer the herd gathered last night for a very nice evening of tea and 5 million biscuits hosted by (and thank you very much) one of our gang Paula Moen.

We also have the privilege of having one of our founding members and super talented artists Paula Mc Gloin return to the collective, so a big YAY there.
A great laugh was had chatting about toys we had as children and their names, games consoles and the merits of a crisp sambo, and of course the plans for our collective.

One such plan is to gather what people think are the lessons, good or bad, that we have learned since 1916.
Get your thinking caps on and send your ideas in a message to us on our facebook page.

We want to compile a list of the best 100 things we have learned. What will we be doing with them? Ahhhh no that would be telling. But it will be good.

The kind people at The Bernard Shaw pub, have once again welcomed the herd back with open arms, thanks guys.

The theme, as selected by the good people at the pub, is Dublin Bay.

Now seen as we are obviously a very busy, sought after and productive bunch of artists, this show will feature a collection of the collective, not the entire herd.

Save the date Elefans.
